In collaboration with Dual Blessing Organization, this impactful initiative highlights PU Prime’s dedication to driving positive social change through community engagement and sustainability.

Collaboration Rooted in Purpose

As part of this latest ESG initiatives, PU Prime is proud to work alongside Dual Blessing Organization in Malaysia. Established on 19 August 2001, the Dual Blessing Organization (also known as Shuang Fu) is a non-profit organization in Malaysia dedicated to serving individuals with disabilities and former drug addicts aged 18 and above. The organization provides vocational training and employment opportunities to help these individuals develop life skills and improve their well-being. Their services include a recycling department, accessible transport, computer training, welfare programs, and a pastry department, all aimed at promoting self-reliance and social inclusion.

The program embodies the core philosophy, “Instead of giving a fish, we teach how to fish,” emphasizing empowerment over dependency. It seeks to equip underprivileged and differently-abled individuals with the tools, skills, and opportunities to lead self-sufficient and meaningful lives. The collaboration marks the beginning of PU Prime’s local efforts to not only improve the lives of individuals in need but to also encourage other offices around the world to implement similar socially responsible actions.

Driving Action Through Recycling and Donations

The initiative began with a company-wide recycling and donation drive, where PU Prime employees came together to contribute reusable items and offer financial support. All collected items were later handed over to Dual Blessing’s recycling department—one of its core operations that both supports the environment and provides work opportunities for its members. This effort not only promoted eco-conscious behavior but also reinforced PU Prime’s values of sustainability and shared responsibility.

On-Site Visit: Understanding the Impact

To further deepen the connection, PU Prime team visited the Dual Blessing Organization on April 11, 2025. During the visit, employees were engaged with staff and beneficiaries, gaining valuable insights into the day-to-day efforts of the organization. The team witnessed firsthand how individuals are trained in various departments such as computer literacy, accessible transport,pastry making and more.

A particularly inspiring aspect was learning how these individuals actively participate in the production and packaging of goods—contributing meaningfully to the organization’s self-sustaining model. This experience not only deepened PU Prime’s appreciation of Dual Blessing’s mission but also strengthened its resolve to contribute more effectively.

A Long-Term Partnership to Uplift Lives

Following the visit, PU Prime formalized a long-term sponsorship and procurement partnership with Dual Blessing. The company will begin sourcing a range of products such as hand soap, floor cleaner, and other daily-use supplies from the organization into office use. These items are produced with the active involvement of Dual Blessing’s beneficiaries, offering them practical work experience, income-generating opportunities, and a renewed sense of purpose.

What makes this partnership truly special is that these products are crafted with active participation from individuals under Dual Blessing’s care. Many contribute to the production and packaging processes, gaining valuable work experience, practical skills, and a sense of purpose.
